New component IDs generation
If the changes you made to the form include changes to specific form components (that is, questions, sections, or categories), in addition to generating a new form version, the system may automatically generate new component IDs for these components.
New component IDs (and hence - also new form versions) are generated for the following scenarios:
-
When a new component is created or deleted
-
When an existing component is updated in any of the following ways:
-
Sections and Categories: Changes to the scoring method, base percentage, precision, baseline score or minimum score.
-
Sections and Categories: Changes to any of the viewing options, such as Hide Score, Enable Comment, Collapse, or Hide.
-
Questions: Changes to question type, baseline score, minimum score, score/answer values (including deleting an answer option or changing the numeric value of an existing answer option in a list of custom answers), defaults, or options (hide score/mandatory/enable comment/hide question/display question above answer/instructions appear above answer/enable reason).
-
Reason fields (if enabled): Changes to the reasons associated with questions
-
New Component IDs are NOT created for the following scenarios:
-
When the component name or question text is updated.
-
When the instructions associated with the component are changed.
-
When a new question is added to a section or category Grouping of calls in Speech Analytics that pertain to specific business issues among all transcribed interactions..
-
When ECD values change, as follows:
-
When ECD values, or available answers in lists in published forms Tool used in the Interaction and Analytics application to evaluate employee performance, and to assess the interactions from the customer’s perspective. are added or removed.
-
When ECD values are changed for answer values (for example, when a different answer value is selected from a drop down list).
A removed value is only available during editing if it is selected in the form.
The evaluations/assessments that are made before an ECD value is removed from a form are displayed correctly. If an ECD value that is removed from the form is selected, it still appears.
Existing evaluations/assessments created with the form before the changes were made can be opened. If the user edits them, they display the new set of question values.
