Set question scoring parameters

You can set the scoring parameters for each question type, with the following exceptions: No scores are awarded for text list, numeric range, and text questions.

For some questions, there is also an appearance option, or a default answer.

The following guidelines describe how to set up the different parameters for each question type.

1. In the navigation tree of the Form Designer window, select an existing question or create a new question. See Create form components.

   The Question Properties pane is displayed to the right of the screen.

2. In the Question Type field, do one of the following to define the questions available answers, corresponding scores, and, if relevant, the question's default answer:

   • Set up Yes/No parameters

   • Set up five rank list parameters

   • Set up custom scored list parameters

   • Set up numeric range parameters

   • Text field parameters setup
